6 Makeup Hacks for Everyday Use

By Ayushi Shah

Makeup is as easy as you make it! They say women spend hours in front of the mirror getting ready, but no, not any more. There are shortcuts to everything and here are six massive makeup hacks that will make it super easy for you to get dressed and look your best.

1. DAB TO BLEND IT

While blending foundation, do not drag the brush or push it on your skin. It creates redness and leaves the face looking powdery. Always dab with the beauty blender under the eyes especially, to make it look natural.

2. TIGHT-LINE EYES

To make your eyes look bigger and more highlighted, tight-line the eyes. Preferably do it with a pencil eyeliner before applying eyeliner and applying the mascara. Hold your upper eyelid and gently line it with the eyeliner pencil while gazing up. This is more often used with the no makeup look.

3. WORK THE ANGLE:

Instead of applying concealer under the eye in a semicircular shape apply it in a triangle and then dab. It reduces the redness on the skin and gives more coverage.

4. OPT FOR NATURAL BROWS:

Even while drawing eyebrows and giving them a shape make sure not to darken them too much. Especially at the beginning of the brows, it can make them look boxed and not natural. If there are gaps in the eyebrows shape them and then use the brow mascara to make the brows look soft.

5. WHITE LINE IT:

Use white eyeliner pencil on the lower eyelids to make the eyes look more wide and open.

6. LIGHTING:

Lastly, but most importantly make sure you do makeup under sufficient lighting and once done check it under different lighting to avoid it from looking cakey.

Go more with less makeup this season to grab the compliments!
